Heather & Ross's Vibrantly Rustic Wedding at The Hobbs Building

Heather and Ross are one of the most laid back couples you'd ever meet.  When I met them just months before their wedding, they knew there was still much left to do, but their approach to their day was that it would get done.  Ultimately, they just wanted their close friends and family to have a good time.  And they did!

Their wedding day was filled with lots of laughter and I realized that this couples personalities were really reflected in their day.  The rustic Hobbs Building featuring Feasts of Fancy in Kansas City's West Bottoms has an unassuming beauty that takes your breath away, not with opulence and over stated details, but with the simple strands of lights hung overhead, wide plank wood flooring, distressed brick walls and subtle details.  Contrasting this was the vibrant color palette of coral, green and white with pops of yellow that stood out beautifully against the rustic backdrop.

Heather and Ross are laid back, but you can tell they love to have fun and invited their guests to truly celebrate this great day with them.  From notes of well wishes written on stones, to ivory ribbons floating in the breeze during the ceremony and each little detail in between; this wedding was simply beautiful and truly heartfelt.  Enjoy the sneak peek of their day!
