Sneak Peek: The Sperry/Traynor Family

It was fun meeting up with the Sperry family again for another family session this past Saturday!  With grandma and grandpa in tow (which helped keep the boys smiling), we walked around the River Market and took advantage of the many great backdrops offered.  

The Sperry family was my first client in Kansas City and I've really appreciated all of the referrals they sent my way!  Brock and Tate also inspired my "treat bag" which is filled with goodies for kids who do a great job... it's just a fun way to keep them excited throughout the shoot!  With wiggly boys, there are alot of candid shots, which helps show off their personalities.  Here are a few of my favorites!

Sneak Peek: The Martin Family

This past Saturday, the Martin's and I met up in Kansas City's Crossroads District for their family photography session.  When Shea mentioned she wanted a backdrop of buildings, I got excited because the Crossroads is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to shoot!  The distressed brick, aged wood backdrops and a unique city vibe plays in great contrast to the warmth and energy of this family.  Grant was a natural in front of the camera and Kyle enjoyed having fun as most five year olds in front of a camera do! Sneak Peek: The Johnson Family

It was a perfect fall day when I met up with the Johnson's at the Overland Park Arboretum. This family, filled with five energetic girls, is all about having a good time and they love to laugh!  We had fun finding new areas in the Arboretum to shoot and the girls kept the smiles coming up to the end... they were so cute!

Sneak Peek: The Justice Family

The Crossroads District in downtown Kansas City was the location for a recent family photography session with the Justice family.  With old green doors, brick buildings and a variety of other great textures, the setting was perfect for this laid back, urban inspired family.  Little Kendall was full of personality and loved sharing her pictures with her bunny named "bunny."  Take a look!

Sneak Peek: The Novak Family

This past weekend I met up with the Novak family at the Aboretum in Overland Park for their family photography session.  I'd never been to the Arboretum, but this pretty setting was perfect for capturing the fall season.  The girls were full of life and loved being in front of the camera!
