You couldn't have asked for a better day in May for Moriah and Noah's outdoor inspired wedding.
The sun was shining and a light breeze shifted the warm spring air in a way that made you want to lay all day in the grass with a great book. But, of course the excitement of the day kept all of us away from thoughts of a lazy spring day and ready to soak in the gorgeous weather as a part of Moriah and Noah's beautiful wedding day.
We started the day at Moriah's home with she and her bridesmaids getting ready while the rest of her family (did I mention she has seven siblings?) busied themselves outside of the closed door to get everything ready for the day. It was great seeing this family work together with relative ease to prepare for this special day. After that we made our way to MWSU, where her dad is a professor, to capture the first look and the bridal party photos.
One of my favorite parts of the first look was that Moriah was barefoot! She's a dancer and, although she had cute purple shoes for the wedding, she felt most comfortable without shoes... and every bride should feel completely like themselves when they first see their groom on their wedding day!
The rest of the day was filled with a whole lot of joy and a ton of adoring glances between Moriah and Noah. Moriah wanted to go with an outdoor inspired theme with shades of green and leaf accents that were found throughout the ceremony and reception. Natural light was a beautiful feature at their reception which was hosted at the newly renovated Math & Science buidling at MWSU. This four story building had an all glass atrium that set the stage for Moriah and Noah's celebration. I could keep going, but you'll just have to see the photos for yourself!
