Falling for Fall...

I love this time of year-  vivid blue skies, leaves crunching with each step, cool crisp air and cozy sweaters... I'm trying to soak in every change this season brings.

Enjoying Summer...

This season never seems quite long enough.  From bonfires to cookouts, baseball to just soaking up the warm breezes and road trips to visit loved ones... this is one season I wish lasted longer.  

 

 

Chicago!

This summer has been a whirlwind as I moved in June to Chicago!  It's one of my most favorite places and God opened the doors for me to find a job, a house and to be close to Gabe and this great city.  My photography has tagged along on this journey although not getting the full attention I was planning to give it these months of ideal weather. 

But things have begun to slow down a bit with getting settled into a new life here and I'm looking forward to getting back into consistent shooting.  I have been able to help Gabe create a website since he needed photos for it- so that's been a fun project that we've been able to work on this summer.

Love in Bloom- Jared & Carolyn's Wedding

Jared and Carolyn are friends of mine so it brought so much more meaning to these photos!  Their wedding was gorgeous and I was able to shadow a photographer friend of mine for their big day.  It was a perfect day and a great experience!  Stay posted for more photos coming soon!

Summer comes...

The first warm breath of summer washes up on the shore welcoming this long- awaited season of relaxation... 

oh so sweet!

I just wanted to share with you a few little pieces of heaven. These macaroons are from the dessert boutique, Pistacia Vera, in German Village where I live. Please, no drooling...

My favorite kind is the green pistachio! These little macaroons are fluffy and firm on the outside, with a burst of flavored filling! Some of their other flavors include: strawberry rose, madagascar vanilla bean, chocolate hazelnut and caramel... just to name a few!

If you're ever in German Village... let me know because I am always looking for an excuse to enjoy these tasty little treats!

Family Photo Fest!

Don't miss out on the first ever Family Photo Fest on Saturday, May 30!! This recession-friendly event will be a fun way to kick off your spring while updating your family album!

It's simple- 25/ $25/ 25!

Here's how it works:

25 minutes for $25 gets you 25-35 photos!




Beginning at 10 am, I'll be conducting 25 minute mini-photo sessions for your family at Homestead Park in Hilliard. That means, your family will get affordable pictures in a fun setting- and you don't have to get your kids to focus for a long period of time! All you have to do is sign up for a time, be fully ready to go at your time slot on the 30th and have fun! You'll then receive a professionally edited disc of pictures in the mail that you can use however you want! Email them to your friends & family and print your favorites without being tied down to a certain number of prints!
