Sneak Peek: Maternity Session with Andrew & Bekah

With Bekah just a few weeks shy of her due date; the maternity session with Andrew and Bekah came just in the nick of time! These soon-to-be first time parents were both glowing (sorry Andrew, you were glowing too) in eager anticipation to meet their baby girl.

And, even though the pink balloons that I was going to use for a prop blew away, the session at the Nelson Atkins Museum was still a lot of fun and this great couple confirmed the fact that they'll be some of the coolest parents ever.

Sneak Peek: The Cook Family

It was a gorgeous morning when I met up with the Cooks for our family session in downtown Kansas City's Loose Park! With tons of trees, ponds with ducks and bridges, this park was a great backdrop for our session. Thomas and Jack had fun showing some brotherly love and the shoot was relaxed and lots of fun!

Senior Pictures- It's that Time of Year!

It's hard to believe that it's already August and our official summer is already half way over! I'm sure for those of you who are headed back to school, there are some mixed reviews. I remember feeling so bummed that the freedom of long summer days was coming to a close, but I was always excited to see friends and get back to feeling productive.

Kansas City area schools are just a few weeks from starting back up, which is an exciting time especially for High School Seniors! You're almost done and this last year will fly by!

Now is the time to start thinking about your senior pictures! I love working with this group because there's a sense of excitement that really comes through in the senior pictures session. It's that moment of leaving all you've known your whole life behind and a sense of wonderment of what's next...
