Raindrops, Converse & George- A Morning with the Sperry's at Loose Park!

"Let's go for it" Stacey said an hour before our session last Friday. It had been storming all morning and we were discussing our options for other sites or if we were going to have to decide on a rain date. We were praying for a break in the clouds and it seemed we would have just enough time to squeeze in the family session at Loose Park. With two energetic boys in tow, it was great to hear Stacey and Ryan were up for the adventure!

The time flew by as the boys dodged raindrops, huddled under the umbrella and even danced in the rain. Tate's friend George made a special guest appearance and when Tate got tired of being in front of the camera, a juice box was just the thing to perk him up to finish out the shoot. (Sometimes the talent just needs a break!) While the boys had matching shoes, Stacey pulled out her converse for a matching shoe moment with Brock (he'll appreciate having such a cool mom when he gets older)! Here's just a sneak peek of some of the fun moments!

Family Session at Loose Park with The Linharts!

Adorable. That's pretty much all I can say about the Linhart kids. I loved spending an hour at Loose Park today with Dan, Lisa and their little ones! We discovered a few shady spots to stay clear of the heat and found that the nice breeze, along with Caleb and Ellie's fun personalities, made the time fly! Here are just a few looks at today's fun family session!

What a fun way to kick off the summer sessions!

Sneak Peek: Luke & Alissa's Wedding!

What a privilege it was to photograph Luke and Alissa's wedding! The Boulevard Brewing Co. was the perfect backdrop to host this simply chic event as Alissa's background in fashion came through each detail. I knew from their engagement session this past fall that this beautiful couple would create a day for all of their family and friends to experience their love... and it was perfect.

The ceremony took place on the outdoor terrace with views of the Kansas City skyline in the background. Alissa's sister officiated the ceremony which brought an extra sense of the strong family bond that was so apparent. Inside the reception was just as stunning with accents of yellow flowers offsetting the classic back and white decor. A photo booth, the groom's cake topped with beer bottles made of sugar, the Boulevard's best known brews on tap, great music and food created a fun atmosphere that reflects this couple's great personalities.

Both of them glowed the entire day... Luke's endless smile and Alissa's flawless beauty captivated their friends and family and, of course, the camera. Here are just a few highlights of the day!
